This 12yo joined the Glen Grant core range in mid-2016 featuring the redesigned bottle. Although not specified, it's safe to expect that maturation is predominantly (if not entirely) in American oak, ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled at 43%.
Nose: Honey, pear and apple with hints of almond and citrus.
Palate: Apple pie crust, caramel and vanilla along with more orchard fruits and a dusting of icing sugar.
Finish: Lingering fruit with subtle hints of cinnamon and assorted pastries.
