Remy Martin Cognac 1738

R 1,499.99

In 1738 King Louis XV of France granted Remy Martin exclusive permission to plant new vineyards through an accord royal (a royal permission). In 1997, Cellar Master Georges Clot decided to create a new cognac honouring this royal gesture. This champagne cognac is a blend of 240 eaux-de-vie, 65% Grande Champagne and 35% Petite Champagne, aged in French Limousin oak barrels for 4 to 12 years. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Generous notes of plum and fig marmalade rounded out by intense oaky notes of toffee and toasted bread.
